The first photograph taken of DNA. I will be recreating this in neon and it will probably look more like a vagina than I hope for but the first step to cure that visual relationship is not to bend it in pink glass or fill with red neon. :)

Some photo inspiration: I plan on receiving my MFA at one point and have always wanted to form my thesis around criminology, psychology and other sciences. With the themes of my current work in mind as a starting point (metaphysics and humanity), I would like to explore further the human condition and psychology behind the people whose experiences affect them drastically and their subsequent successes or downfalls. Why do people kill other people or commit crimes against themselves? In an attempt to wholly explore and study humanity, we must at times dive into its depths to see the road most feared. This piece is one of those, “wish I thought of it first” things.
